ik the simplex 2120 is and old ass fire alarm set (i dont have one irl or anything this is for roblox stuff)
this is just a general question so i can make my fire alarm kit thing more realistic in era times
The simplex 2120 would have used simplex 80’s devices. Probably 2903’s.

was it strobe flash or was it just a loop of a constant light and horn
The 2120 either used 2903 light or strobe plates or 2902 speaker strobes
The pulls could either be early addressable 2099’s or 4251’s ( depends if it’s addressable)
The smokes were 2098’s
nice
issue is: on roblox its hard or impossible to get a smoke detector working since its a particle as a moving GIF decor
so app one of the pulls is a key activated one [4251’s] (not much made in roblox)
and theres no 2099’s made in roblox (with context)

You can use any pull on a 2120 ( as long as it’s conventional )

The 2099-9781 is an addressable 4251-20.
The 2099-9782 is an addressable 4251-30.
These are the pull stations that would be used with the 2120, which is an addressable system.
so if the 2099-9781 is adressed as 4251-20 and 2099-9782 is 4251-30
does that mean that every 1 added to 978 ( = any number) the 4251- goes up in 10? (math joke question answer at will)

It’s only about 40 years old, there’s much older systems
if the much older systems are more well known (in a way)
why is the 2120 less talked abt?
Because it’s really rare
