Voice Evac Message Files

It does, last week I stayed at a hotel, and randomly in the middle of the night, the all of the Siemens S-LP70-MCS-W’s played a beep and then some guy came on the speakers and said “a fire alarm has been activated please stand by for more information”.

I just managed to come across this video my recommendations that has original audio for some Japanese voice evacuation system. The blue screen with the red house on fire is usually what’s displayed in some of the household intercom systems in Japan when it’s in alarm condition but they use a different script. (I think they’re typically made by Aiphone but I’m not too sure)

however it doesn’t have the false alarm message that would be otherwise commonly used

Good find I guess, but the ones I’m familiar with sound slightly different (whether every brand of system uses the same messages like with New Zealand systems I have no idea though).

Keep in mind, y’all, the file is around 300 megabytes (you will need to use the wayback machine to find it.

You say that but I tested it out just now & it downloaded without a problem.

I’ve made an EST Guy AI Video!!

I’ve also made Simplex and Siemens, I will upload those soon.

Excellent! Really wish I had access to a completely free, easy-to-use, & no-login-required AI voice program so I could do things like that. How about having “Edwards/EST Guy” (as I like to call him) say other manufacturers’ messages to see how those sound? (since it kinda sounds weird having him say something not fire alarm-related)

EST Guy was saying some default ElevenLabs quotes. (which were also likely generated by AI)

Oh, okay. Does ElevenLabs not allow you to simply type in whatever you want a voice to say though? (which if you ask me should be standard on every AI voice program as otherwise what’s the point of them?)

I do apologize for being late here, but ElevenLabs does support the ability to make a cloned voice say whatever you want.

When I first tried it a few months ago, it used to cost $1, but now it’s $5.

$1 sounds pretty cheap for an AI Voice Cloning Service.

It’s okay. Ah, thought so.

It was: as you said it’s now $5 instead, but I’m still not paying for something I likely won’t use that often & will likely only screw around with every now & then.

well the new message said there is a fire emergency reported in the building you are to leave the building by the nearest exit. which incase there is no elevators in single story building except dual or high rise that had elevators. and with staircases and fire staircases. then it well give you the option and tell you not to use the elevators when there is a fire.

which program and how did you do that?

Can I have them please?

ElevenLabs.

Sorry for the year later reply…

(I’m new to this forum btw) there is this particular voice evac message (I think it’s a edwards message) it start with the slow whoop then a female voice that says “attention. attention. the fire alarm in this building has been activated. please proceed to the nearest exit and leave the building. do not use the elevator.” I’m pretty sure it’s realllllllllllly rare

The only female voice message that I know of that has the line “the fire alarm in this building has been activated” in it is a Potter message, but the rest of its script doesn’t match the one you outlined. Would you happen to remember where you heard such a message?

several Philadelphia high schools, including constitution high school, where I used to go, as well as a modified version at citizens bank park/phillies stadium in south Philadelphia where “building” is replaced with “ballpark”
