Wal-Mart and Fire Alarms

I know this is a slightly old topic, but I have a piece of interesting information to share.

My Wal-mart has a Siemens system!!

The main panel is in the front of the store; it’s a Siemens MXL-IQ.

The pull stations are found by every single exit from the building, and are the MS-51 pull stations with bilingual lettering.

The main signals are bilingual U-MMT-MCS horn/strobes. They are placed by all exits.

The remote strobes are U-MCS, also bilingual. They’re found in the washrooms.

On the main floor space, the signals are surface-mounted on support beams. Two U-MMTs are placed opposite of each other, and so are two U-MCSs.

Also, in McDonald’s and the vision center, there are Siemens piezoelectric horn/strobes, IDK the model number.

Finally, I believe the smoke detectors are the photoelectric addressable Siemens detectors.
