My school has Simplex TrueAlert horn strobes and TrueAlert remote strobes inside the main building (plus one outside the building), a TrueAlert remote horn on the back of the gym building, which has Simplex 4903-9219 horn strobes, same for the inside of the band building, with the outside having a Wheelock MT remote horn on the right side, Wheelock MT horn strobes on the front and back, and a Wheelock NS on the left side.

The school I work at was built with/ Simplex system, the last building that was built w/ Simplex was in the late 90’s, as first buildings built w/ Wheelock devices were finished in the late 90’s/early 2000’s, as the entire district switched from using Simplex systems and devices to Wheelock/Notifier. School now uses a Gamewell panel, with some original original Simplex strobes, horns, and pulls that haven’t been replaced in prior remodels tied into new system. Based on new System Sensor L-Series Voice Evac System being installed in new Aquatics Center, and building renovations set to start over summer in a couple buildings, I have a suspicion notification devices across the entire campus could be poised to be replaced with System Sensor Voice Evac devices. All of the campus with the current system is set to continuous with the exception of some of the buildings retrofitted with Wheelock Exceeders and the new Aquatics Center with voice evac.

So these are the systems on my college campus. Everything is addressable Notifier, but pretty much each building has a different setup in it. You can definitekly tell what was from what era of the campus as many systems are similar. I’m not sure exactly what the panels are in each building as they’re not visible (except for a small few), some are obvious and most aren’t so if I don’t know what the panel is I’ll either say ONYX series or AFP series correlating with what I believe the panel is. First will be general buildings, followed by academic/instructional buildings, and then residence halls. Buildings that I have not been in will not be included.
