Yeah. Well that’s what happens when a Fortune 500 corporation buys a small company like wheelock. Same thing with simplex

Maybe, but on the other hand Edwards (then known as EST) flourished when they were under ownership of SPX Corporation from 1998 to 2004, which was itself a Fortune 500 company (though since then they’ve still done relatively well compared to others like Wheelock & Simplex).

Now Carrier wants to get rid of it to another company pretty soon along with Kidde.

Yeah, especially since both SPX & Carrier seem to be the two best parents when it comes to Edwards (maybe General Signal too).

Yeah, let’s hope that whoever ends up getting Edwards takes care of them as well as Carrier, SPX, & General Signal did.
