UD Stands for Upload/Download. Some people like to say it stands for UDACT, but no I’m 100% positive its Upload/Download.

Pretty sure you’re right as “UDACT” is the name of two Notifier devices: Universal Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitters specifically.
