Who has ever seen a not-well-cared-for fire alarm?

I ask this, because I once saw a fire alarm that was literally HANGING OFF of the ceiling at my school. It looked as if it was about to fall any second, and was hanging on for dear life! I also once saw a Simplex Trualert hanging off of it’s baseplate, and it was at the same exact school. Any good stories out there? :shock:
