Name that fire alarm. Almost looks like an Exceeder non-LED speaker strobe.
SAE VA4.
Remember: Fire alarms are serious and should not be ignored.

I've only ever seen them in person twice. One was at a lake that was near an arcade which name I can't really think of at the moment and the other is at a Stop N Shop in North Providence.

Sorry for the late post, but is the alarm still made?

I'm not sure if they still are or not. As I said I only saw them in person twice and I haven't really seen any new installations that have had them so I wouldn't be able to tell you what's going on with them if they are still being made or not because I really haven't seen any around but they might and just might not be as popular as other brands.

I'm no fire alarm historian, but I recall hearing that the VA4-series were manufactured beginning in the mid-to-late 90s, likely as direct competition to devices like the Edwards Integrity and Wheelock AS/NS/MT. I have zero clue if they're made anymore, but I'd doubt it, since they weren't that popular. I've also heard the VA4-series referred to as the "loudest modern fire alarm" on several occasions, although I've never even SEEN one of these devices, much less heard one go off.

Unless it is a speaker strobe version or something different from the other picture on the previous page, but i'd say it is again a VA4 horn strobe. It's alright if you didn't know; everyone makes mistakes.

Already saw the video, it is indeed a Space Age VA4 horn/strobe.

That is a Gentex Commander. Not sure if it is a 1, 2 or 3.
