I had one last night where I was in a hotel, we were going to go to the restaurant to eat when the alarm went off. I heard a female voice first:

Weise (owned by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergner’s Bergner’s)(Pronounced like Wise-ee). It was Bergner-Weise for a while, then just Bergner’s, then finally http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Store Boston Store which it is currently). Now for the light part. It was in a dream I had had when I was younger, about a game show. On the host’s podium. there was a set of light bulbs arranged in a square. They first started out all on, but then there was a special part of the show where this sound occurred, and the lights went into a chaser mode. This part of the “show” featured an item from Bergner-Weise) [Back on topic] The speakers were large square grilles in the wall (like the grilles bells are set behind) with SAE V33 strobes. Also as we approached the restaurant I could see the beam of a clear revolving light. Sure enough, in the restaurant lobby a clear revolving light was also “deployed”, hanging from the ceiling. I then stopped time letting the alarms go on, then explored. In the restaurant there were 4903 speaker/strobes. Then I went downstairs to the kitchen where a 9806 on a 4904-9101 was sounding. A cook had burnt food and triggered the smoke detector. Then the cooks sang about triggering the alarm in a rock-opera style song!
i had one where there was litterally a “World Fire Alarm” which was basically horns, strobes, smokes, heats, and pulls everywhere. in the dream, i had a Volkswagen Beetle, and when i got in, there were alarms in it! there was a FOS F1GT chevron on the dashboard, a red Commander 4 on the ceiling, and about 5 inches away was an i3! later, when i pulled up to a Mcdonalds, i got out, and looked in the trunk and found a FireLite MS-2 with a BG-12 in front of it(the MS-2 was also wired up to the car horn, so when i activated it, the horn honked in code 3!)! then, i got on the Metrorail, and there were SpectrAlerts and 4051s on 4050-85 light plates, only they were strobes instead of lights. the pulls in there were BLACK EST T-Bars, with red pull handles! also, the smokes were black i3s.
also, there was another where i was being chased by floating Wheelock E70s with red strobes(the E70s were both red and white.) they were also saying “GENTEX must die!” and flashing normally.
Last night I had a dream about another test at a nursing home type place. The alarms were 9833s on 9501 light plates. The panel was an interesting one: a Simplex 3005. It had a whole bunch of displays.

I had a dream (since tomorrow I go back to school) that I went to a meeting in a big room there, and they announced “And another thing, we have changed our signal coding to… um… Step time?” And I said, “March time?”, and they just ignored me and kept on talking. They then said “We are going to have a fire drill on the first day of school”.
Come time for the fire drill, none of the signals sounded, because they were all Wheelock AS’s with a delay!
I had a dream that our target was being made into a 2-level Super Target (there are rumors that we are supposed to get a Super Target upgrade, although not 2-level.) Anyways, up on the second floor, which was surprisingly already there, there was a very dirty System sensor “doorknob” smoke. I went back to the downstairs (main floor) hall and saw a new RSS. But it was different. The sides of it, rather than coming off at a 90° angle, they were more like a -9846’s plate. Also the beauty plate was brushed stainless, and on the left side of the bottom angled part was “DKE” in a stencil-type font, and on the right it said "DiVERSION. It was also on the topside, reversed. I assumed DKE was the alarm vendor/installer.
I had part of my dream last night that a couple of kids in my grade set off a fire alarm. It was at some building. They were first fumbling around with a Simplex 4099-9001. They pulled it half way down but not far enough so that it activated and it sprung back up (I’m assuming it works that way, but then again, it was just a dream). Then for some reason they had keys and opened it. Then I knew the alarm would go off in just a sec. It did. When they closed the station the handle was in the activated position all of a sudden (this would never really happen, but this was a dream and anything can happen in a dream). The ceiling mounted TrueAlert Speaker/Strobe started flashing and a voice evac came on. Everyone in the building had to evacuate. The way we evacuated took us through a narrow hallway with Wheelock 7002ts in it for some reason. They were LOUD in that hallway because the hallway was so narrow. I know 7002ts aren’t that loud usually. Normally a Simplex system doesn’t use 7002ts especially if there are TrueAlert Speaker/Strobes too (but this is a dream so the system might be different). Funny dream, just thought I’d share it with you guys.
I had a weird dream last night. I was in my kitchen, when a voice said, “If you want to get out of this level, you have to pull the fire
alarm.” “the fire alarm?” I said. “Yes, The fire alarm.” So, I looked around my house when I went to my mom’s room, And Found a black
270-SPO in there. So, I pulled it, and then I woke up.
Last night (or was it the night before) I had a dream that I had a Simplex relabled Gentex GX90 mini horn arrive in the mail. Oddly enough, when I opened the package, it was a black one. Oddly enough, the label said “GX90-4C”. Then I was in this weird elevator and it had a GMS and a 2099-9754 T-Bar. In this elevator, the only way to make the elevator to move is to pull the T-Bar which would also make the alarm go off. I pulled the T-Bar, covered my ears, then the elevator started going up and the GMS went off in fast march time. Then I had this box full of fire alarms. I can only remember that there was an MT-24-LSM and an MT4-24-LSM but there was a bunch of odds and ends in there as well.
This topic is really an old one, but I’ll bring it back with a dream I had last night.
This was one of those dreams where it’s not exactly precise as in real life but you can still make out what it is. For instance I knew I was at my school but it wasn’t the same as my school really is.
I was in my first period Spanish class, and it’s nearing the time to leave, and this kid asks “Is the fire drill this period or next period?” and the teacher is like “It’s going to happen before you leave this class.” And I didn’t know that we were going to have one so I’m all like “We are going to have a fire drill?” On the digital clock above the door the message “FIrE DrILL” scrolls across the screen (doesn’t happen in real life but I’ve heard it is possible.) Then there were two rapid beeps from the PA system and the 4903 Horn/Strobes kick into action doing code 3. We all leave the room and go around a lot of corners to find our exit, after what felt like awhile we finally turn a corner and there is an exit. The 4903 horns stop (strobes continue to flash) as I walk towards the exit. Once outside there is a Simplex 4903 Rectangular Speaker/Strobe and a Wheelock Speaker/Strobe fairly close to each other (I’d say within 10 feet) and it’s going through the message like “There has been a fire emergency reported in the building. Please leave the building by the nearest exit…” And we all line up on like bleachers of some sort. I don’t know, it was a weird dream. But like it was oddly familiar, like the horn strobes were the exact same as in my school with the exception of those two speaker/strobes, and the code 3 and strobe flashes were like in perfect unison. lol. So yeha, it was a good dream though
i had a dream last night that a Mircom FX-2000 was installed in my house! Genesis Speaker/Strobes(white ceiling and wall mount) and addressable 270-SPOs. it had the two stage option on(first code 3, then 120ppm marchtime)
In my 4th grade classroom, there was a ceiling mount TrueAlert in the middle of the room. I once had a dream that they installed more ceiling mount TrueAlerts in every corner of the room! :shock: It was creeping me out.
3 last night:
1: just a school with 892s. No activation.
2: I dreamt that our local radio station was on fire! (a small one.) The alarms were the Faraday bare-bones horn assemblies mounted behind E70 speaker grilles. I also had a FLIR thermal imaging camera (like the one that the MythBusters use) to look through the smoke. Then I examined the strobe on one of the alarms and watched how the lens warmed up with every flash.

3: I was watching a show where they were talking about a hotel fire they were in. It showed the alarms, an AS24MCW, and you could also hear an Amseco Select-A-Horn/Strobe going off. The lobby had EM horns.
I had a dream that I was riding my bike in some old abandoned parking garage. There were EST Genesis’s, weird duct detectors with 2400’s in them, and those old Edwards heat detectors. There were also two sprinkler bells outside. They were mounted right next to each other on a wooden board. One was a 6" System Sensor, the other was a big, old, water-driven bell. In my dream, I remember thinking, “Wow, I wonder if I can uninstall these alarms since the place is abandoned”.
i had a dream that i got a CH70 which broke rather violently when i applied power to it(the speaker and the strobe asploded everywhere). i then got a TrueAlert Speaker/Strobe and put the tone card(which was perfectly fine) from the broken CH70 onto the back of the TrueAlert, thus making it a Simplex 4903 series chime/strobe!
irony is, in real life, i have a busted CH70, and i just bought a TrueAlert speaker/strobe off of ebay.
I had a dream last night there was a house with the original pulls being Notifier NBG-1s. Most of them are now Simplex 2099-9754s. Also, the alarms are now a tone over the PA speakers with no strobes, However, there is a Wheelock 7002t, a Wheelock NS remote horn, and a System Sensor Pre-ADA MASS. SO a couple of the alarms have strobes.
A Wheelock NS remote horn would be a Wheelock NH remote horn.
Anyway, back on topic.
Well, last night I had a dream that I got several BG-10L’s labeled as Fire-Lite (I had my Notifier NBG-10L seen in this dream) and pulled one, and I think I reset it.
Here’s one FA dream that I had about several months ago that I didn’t get to post.
I was at the section near the small gym at my high school (which looked very different than it does in reality), the EST Genesis horn/strobes were going off in synced code-3 (they weren’t very loud like they are in reality) along with an Edwards 892 remote horn (or was it more than one) being coded to code-3. What’s weird that I didn’t hear the 7002T’s going off. I would say this is one of the weirdest FA dreams I have ever had.
I had a really strange dream last night. I can’t really remember where I was, because it seemed to keep going back and forth between my old elementary school and Home Depot. Anyway, there were EST 270-SPO’s, but I don’t remember any NA’s or smokes. Above each 270-SPO was the remains of an old shield-logo one. To install the new one underneath, they had cut off the bottom of the old one to make it fit. There was also a 270-SPO installed right on top of a gutted Gamewell Masterbox. I remember thinking, “I can’t wait to tell The Schumin Web about this horrible installation job!”.
