I am currently in a hotel and found out that they replaced the smoke alarms. This is in my room. Keep in mind that different models are not compatible with each other.

Also the Kidde alarm in the back had an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT install job.

Also when I went to the vending machines, I am positive that I heard a smoke alarm calling for a new battery.
Well at least this is better than what it used to have. It used to have Firex ADCs and G6s. I was able to acquire one ADC but it looked like it was hit by hurricane Katrina as the sensor was completely rusted out. I ended up trashing it after I saw the sensor.

Depending on when the building was built, they might not be required to interconnect to each other, in which case it is fine to use different brands.

I thought you were part of The Anti-Fire Alarm Trashing Police (TAFATP)…
