Fire Alarm Fails

well actually no this mall has more than 2 na s. the whole system in this mall is integrity even if they only have horns or brand that shouldnt be with this the company that owns this mall actually went with edwards in all the malls that they own

I see a few things that could be wrong here either it is a dummy device or they could have inserted a security camera in there which would be an extreme privacy issue the reason i think there is a camera is because it is a camera dome you should report this to the AHJ or the police (depending where located)

no this would not be how it would look like if the strobe blew up if that were to happen the glass would still be clear this actually really looks like a privacy issue

If it isn’t replaced before next year, it will be 20 Years since it was inspected!

Imagine if someone tried to grab a pair of those clothes and accidentally pulled that Fire Alarm Pull Station.

How did it get up that high anyway?

I’ve seen them very low too

The building previously had an early '80s Edwards system with 270-GAOs. When that system was replaced in 2011, the new Notifier pull stations were mounted on the existing backboxes, hence why they’re a bit higher.

A Fire Alarm Test Station with it’s Key Inserted at the Strike and Spare Bowling Alley.

Eww. That’s the laziest Installation I’ve seen so far! How does that place even pass the inspections?

And to make matters worse, it’s in a spot where people go on vacation! How dare you!

And to make matters even more worse, look at the mess they made with that poor ex-2001-8001.

Horn strobe in the bathroom?. This was at a mellow mushroom

Here are the fire alarms I’ve seen in bathrooms:

  1. Simplex 2901-9838 horn on a 4903-9105 at my elementary school and at a dorm at the International Music Camp
  2. Simplex 4903 horizontal electronic horn/strobe at my school district’s offices/pool
  3. System Sensor MASS ADA at an IHOP in Loveland, CO and at a LongHorn Steakhouse in Destin, Florida
  4. Wheelock MT at my old local Barnes and Noble

Oh shiitake mushrooms, here comes the earrape.

I saw a gentex commander 3 horn strobe in a bathroom too but hopefully that was set to chime due to being in a hospital.

I really want to see the inspector and get the LifeAlarm speaker in the stairway. It deserves better than that.

Sorry, no-can-do. The forces of TAFATP are not that strong enough yet. We need people who are locals there or live near there who can talk other people into letting them save them. I hope you live near MB, cus then you could.

That’s gotta be a camera. You don’t find a fire alarm device with a strobe tinted with that kind of black so perfectly which is concerning for the strobe to be tinted that color.
