I’m pretty sure the model number is 2099-9782. It runs mapnet1
Ooo, nice!! Didn’t know there was a 2099 in the 4251-30 style. I have just the regular one only it runs Mapnet 2 (I saw yours runs 1). Model 2099-9795
Yes. I now have two pulls that run both versions of mapnet
The early generation 2099s!
Yep! I love 'em! They’re pretty rare too
Nice I like it rare-ish faraday
Well I decided to jump back into the hobby with the purchase this nib pre-signal Edwards pull + transponder module. This is a very unique and rare device
Model 6296A-270. Never seen one with that kinda back before. And the trimplate is pretty interesting as well.
Yeah, I believe that’s Edwards first addressable pull station! Right? @ConorTheFAguy6. Anyways this pull was used on the Edwards ESA-2000 and that black box is the addressable module. The model number I mentioned is the model of the module, not the pull. The pull is a regular 270P-SPO
The ESA-2000 was a Canadian Edwards panel, which explains the two-stage setup.
Yes, this device is also UL listed.
Cool. I own a new old stock 270-SPO from 1986.
Nice! My transponder was made in '99
I’m pretty sure the first addressable protocol for Edwards was with the 8500. These black and beige modules were known as “analog” modules and smokes, strictly used for the ESA-2000, but there was also an older protocol simply known as “addressable”, both for the ESA and 8500 and possibly originated from the very obscure 5900. I have both an “addressable” and “analog” card for the ESA and I find the analog devices are much easier to work with. Also the “addressable” smokes were actually just regular conventional 6200 series smokes with special bases, as were the heat detectors.
Yeah I remember seeing some detector transponders for sale too, i’m curious to see the differences between the 8500 addressable devices and the current transponder I have
Tbh, I never seen the older font used for the “FIRE ALARM” text used on one with a red outline. What’s more, it’s addressable. You have probably stumbled upon a rather uncommon variant of the Autocall 4050.
I’m the second one in the community to own an addressable 4050
