Name That Fire Alarm! (2.0)

Don’t know about the smoke detectors, but I do know the signaling device - it’s a Wheelock ET-1010-WS24 speaker/strobe which bears resemblance to the 7002T.

I won’t look at Destin’s site, because I’m not a cheater, but I’m pretty sure they’re Pyrotronics detectors.

Actually, the first one is a Pyrotector 3040 (often rebranded by many other companies) and the second is an older ESL model (I forget the model #).

Huh, I thought the first was a System Sensor 2800 or 1800 or something. Anyways, the second one is an ESL 611-UT. So Destin is right.

Nope. Here are datasheets for the System Sensor | Honeywell Building Technologies 1800 and System Sensor | Honeywell Building Technologies 2800 series detectors.

I recently figured out it was a 2300.

Sorry but the speaker strobe is not rare enough to be on thesdx’s website: http://firealarmcollector.com/index.php/about/devices-by-brand/wheelock/

The speaker strobe which is a Wheelock ET-1010-WS24 (as said before) is literally the first alarm thesdx has on his Wheelock Collection page.

Destin (thesdx) owns a lot of rare stuff, so that’s not a valid argument.

Good Point. How else did he get the old Faraday Bell and Coded Pull Stations.

Either way it is easy to find some of those rare alarms off his site.

I came across a rather strange fire alarm the other day. It looked like a Siemens U-MMT but it was longer. I didn’t get a picture but it was VERY strange. I don’t know what it sounded like, but I imagine it would be like a U-MMT.

It could have been a U-MMT on a strobe plate or something.

Could have been a Faraday version of that horn on a Simplex strobe plate. I’ve seen one before and own one. Kind of rare, but it seems to fit that description.

That’s exactly what I was thinking, spot on!

What’s with the alarm in your avi? Did system Sensor make a series of colored strobes for the MASS or is the photo altered?

Oh, and here’s that alarm I was thinking of. Is this what you saw?

That’s what I was thinking of as well.

And yes, your eyes do not deceive you, that is a MASS with a green lens! I figure you’d eventually notice that! Me and my friend found two of them at a Meijer’s, we weren’t sure what they were connected to though. The rest of the building was a Notifier system with GX-90-S’s and GXS’s.

And honestly, I think its’s an MAEH/MASS24LO given the label on the bottom.

Name this pull station and stopper I found at a movie theater!
Sorry for the big picture, sending from my phone

Correct but does anyone know what this stopper is? I dont
