Voice Evac Message Files

Anyone know what voice evac system this is?

Sounds like some kind of TTS voice, thus it may not be an actual system (or at least none that I know of), as most (if not all) brands have their messages recorded by professional voice actors.

Anyone know where I can get Silent Knight voice evac tones? I have the messages, but I also want the tones.

I don’t believe those are available anywhere.

Also, where can I download the Silent Knight 6820EVS programming software?

According to a PDF file I found the 6820EVS is programmed with HFSS, Silent Knight’s programming software for most of their addressable panels (besides those that belong to the Intelliknight & IFP-serieses, which are programmed with SKSS). For some reason the software page on the Silent Knight website is down at the moment, but this direct link to HFSS should work:
https://buildings.honeywell.com/content/dam/hbtbt/en/documents/downloads/HFSS%20Version%207.0.250.0.zip

I don’t want all the tones, I just want the code 3 tone. Is just the code 3 tone available anywhere?

Like I said, I don’t believe any of the tones are available anywhere online, so I guess you’re out of luck.

Ok. Also, why do these EST voice evac videos have a female voice and then the male voice? I’ve never heard EST systems do that.

That’s just what some systems do; it’s all down to the way they’re programmed/set up/designed. Most Edwards/EST systems will use one of several male messages, but in the case of these systems I guess a combination female/male message was desired instead (which is most likely custom for each place, at least the female part: the male portion comes from one of Edwards/EST’s aforementioned male messages).

As for the gym video, the female voice is a 3 second clip of a Silent Knight tornado warning message:

As for the town center video, I can’t say for sure as it sounds kind of different (it could be Silent Knight as well but I’m not sure)…

I had no idea the first part was Silent Knight, good find! (though why they would combine the two brands I have no idea, unless like I said the customer wanted a female voice to start off the message, & seeing as how Edwards has very few (if any) female voice messages they had to get one from somewhere else)

Huh, that’s odd: why would they remove the page for the 6820EVS? I believe they’re still selling it (especially given that it’s part of Silent Knight’s 6000-series, which succeeded the 5000-series).

I made this EST one that will probably scare you if it were to go off unexpectedly: aud26.mp3 - Google Drive

I put the Silent Knight and EST messages together like the gym video: aud22.mp3 - Google Drive

Does anyone have Fike CyberCat voice evac messages?

I believe that’s another brand who’s sound files are very difficult (if not impossible) to find/get ahold of.

I thought that Siemens/Cerberus Pyrotronics is the only company to mix messages
